Silica gel E without color indicator for drying
Spherical shape, round beads, without color indicator with white, semitransparent appearance, bulk density approx. 750 g / l. The spherical shape allows better ventilation, an advantage when silica gel is to be used in a layer thickness of more than 2 cm thickness. Inner surface: 800 m² / g.

RH = 20% / 11% by weight
RH = 40% / 20% by weight
RH = 80% / 34% by weight
Silica gel E is mainly used for drying. The water absorption is mainly in the dry range (0 - 40% RH). Silica gel E can be repeatedly (> 10 times) regenerated by heating to 130 ° to 150 ° C. Silica gel E with color indicator can be used up to max. 140 ° C are heated.
