Light / UV / Thermal Protection

Visible light and UV light have a dramatical impact on works of art and other sensitive goods. The damage potential of UV light is many times higher and should be completely excluded. Typical UV sources indoors are the sun through window panes, which can be blocked with UV protective film. Also certain lamps emit UV, such as halogen lamps and fluorescent tubes, for which we provide special UV filter tubes. Both UV and lux values should be checked with Lux/ UV-meters or blue scales.
