Tyvek rolls
Tyvek® is a 100% polyethylene (HDPE) non-woven material, that combines characteristics of paper, plastic foil and textiles in a convenient way. It has proven its worth as a preservation material in archives and museum storages for the protection of all kinds of objects. Since it is permeable, non-abrasive, waterproof and dustproof, it meets most requirements for functional protection. It provides a barrier for spores and hems fungal and bacterial growth.
We offer rolled Tyvek in different sizes:
Tyvek® 1622E soft-structure is perfectly suitable for the packaging of most works of art and museum objects for transportation or storage. It is soft, tear-resistant, breathable and antistatic. Tyvek® 1073 is suitable for packaging, labels, envelopes, etc.. Compared to the 1622E, it is more smooth, rigid, tear-resistant and printable.
