The Oasis dehumidifiers work on the condensation principle. Humid air is sucked in by a fan and passed over a heat sink. The airborne water condenses and is collected in a container. A downstream heat exchanger of the refrigerator unit heats the air back to room temperature.

- An optional condensate pump can be connected, pumping the water collected in the tank to a drain located at some distance
