Approved for food

Bentonite is a non-toxic natural mineral. DESI PAK pouches are approved for use with food. Dry clay is equivalent to 50 ° C to use as Silikagel-E. Only when transporting to tropical countries is silica gel preferable.

The bags DESI-PAK 6 to 16 g can be regenerated many times at 110 ° C, best in convection ovens, depending on the quantity about 1 - 4 h. To test put a hot pouch on a cold mirror or shiny metal. If the bag still releases water vapor, it immediately forms dew precipitate on the mirror. After cooling, you can also test with the enclosed indicator strip 8% RH.

The bags DESI PAK 30 to 1000 g are recently packed in fleece material, which begins to shrink at the usual regeneration temperature of 110 °. If you intend to regenerate the bags, it is better to choose our bags Claypack.
